 Mission
DHL Aviation N.V. is the aviation subsidiary of DHL. DHL Aviation owns (in whole or in part) and provides aviation-related services to a number of airlines carrying DHL freight around the world.
DHL Aviation is based in Brussels, Belgium, where its largest subsidiary, European Air Transport is also located.
However, the new Intercontinental hub will be based in Leipzig/Halle Airport in Germany, with daily flights through Brussels and all major cities in Europe. EAT Headquarters remains in Brussels and will continue to be DHL's major European airline.
DHL Aviation has a fleet of over 70 aircraft, ranging from Cessna to Airbus A300 freighters. In addition to DHL Aviation, DHL relies on leasing and block-space agreements with other carriers to complete its air network.
SUMMARY
Ensure correct and effective management of Finance to support H&G Controlling Europe and VP BeneLux Cluster with financial analyses, budgets, forecasts and reports and keep compliance with financial local legislation, corporate provisions and mandatory deadlines.
KEY ACTIVITIES
- Coordinate local finance function with central-ized function, prepare feasibility analyses and qualitative impact analyses on bookkeeping, suggest and implement new solutions and pro-cedures.
- Coordinate when needing other H&G Benelux Cluster Functions in the arrangement and de-velopment of Financial Analysis and Business Plans.
- Develop analyses of variances against Fore-cast, Budget and Business Plan, suggest ade-quate corrective actions when needed, imple-ment cost controlling measures and regularly prepare reports on financial actual figures.
- Provide Staff structure with proper coordina-tion and supervision, all relevant information and clear direction in the analysis process of Plan of Investments and New Initiatives.
- Gather and organize information from other local Functions, meet, co-operate and imple-ment with Performance Improvement Dept., Cost & Productivity management tools.

Implement an effective and efficient departmental organization able to ensure all required activities with the most efficient employment of resources.

 Profil
EDUCATION
- Master or bachelor Degree in Economics or Business Administration.
- Good knowledge of Local & IFRS Accounting Principles.
- Good knowledge of Fiscal Regulation.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5 years experience with respon-sibilities in Reporting and legal management.
- Accounting Audit background appreciated.
